Jack Russell terrier training

I have heard many of the frustrations that people go through with Jack Russell Terrier training. Some breeds are simply much more difficult to come to terms with, and this is true of the JRT. Now I am not saying that it's the dogs fault. What I am saying is that they have been bred in such a manner to be a certain type of creature, given to a certain task under various circumstances. It just so happens that those particular propensities – instincts - are quite unlike what we are used to. This can make Jack Russel Terrier training a little bit more of a challenge.

My dog drinks out of the toilet!

There are times when a water bowl just won’t do, and the toilet bowl supply is much more appealing to a dog. So, what is it that makes toilet water so much more appealing than the water in his nice new water bowl that you recently bought, and that you faithfully add water to every day?

You can get puppy medical insurance just as you can get medical insurance for people. Not only that but you can get certain types of health plans for any dog in the family. Its much like shopping for other types of insurance, such as auto insurance, house insurance, etc., searching for the best puppy insurance plan often takes a good deal of research to find the right provider.

List of Small Dog Breeds

One of the biggest benefits of small dogs is that they make a good choice for apartment dwellers and those with smaller living spaces. This is part of the appeal. But they aren't always easier and cheaper to look after and care for. Usually, when someone is looking through a list of small dog breeds, they believe certain things hold true. But, in fact, some of those perceptions might turn into mis-conceptions.

I own 3 purebred dogs myself, and I am also involved in some occasional breeding, and therefore this is a subject of grave concern to me.
Mastiff

<Img src=" ./img_assets/Face_rt_images/T_mastiff.jpg" align = "Left" vspace="5" hspace="8" width="100">

It surprises people to discover that the term "Mastiff" is often used in error to describe several dogs thought to be of the same type. They are also often referred to as the "Old English Mastiff", but this is incorrect. The Mastiff is unique to itself. These are large, instictively protective dogs. They can easily pass the two-hundred pound mark. They come in fawn, rust or brindle in color; all with a black mask and ears; possessing a medium to short coat with very little white. They are very family oreinted animals...

Manchester Terrier

<Img src="./img_assets/Face_rt_images/manchester.jpg " align = "Left" vspace="5" hspace="8" width="100">

Manchester Terriers come in 2 varieties - Standard, and Miniature and belong to the working and toy groups, respectively. Because of similar markings, Some less aquainted with the breed have accused them of being of Doberman Pinscher origins, but such is not the case. In fact, the Doberman is of Manchester origin! This is a full fledged terrier, in every possible way. This is a stout little dog, holding the notable distinction of killing over 100 rats in under 2 minutes! These dogs are smart, inquisitive, quick learners and easy to train.

Maltese

<Img src="http://www.dogsrus.co.il/images/maltese.jpg " align = "Left" vspace="5" hspace="8" width="100">

The stamp of the Maltese is the striking contrast between large round dark eyes and nose and its white soft, long, silky luxurious coat. This breed needs special attention to grooming to maintain its appearance. The coat doesn't shed, but it becomes easily matted, and can be something of a dirt magnet, thereby rendering them more suitable for a life of ease indoors. They are bright, sassy, and full of fun.
